Two Copays for one Visit?

Can a doctor’s office legally charge you two copays for one visit? I recently went to the doctor’s office and they collected two copays from me. She said it was due to the lab work I had done.

It would depend on your insurance policy. Check the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) you receive from your insurance company. This is the “final answer”. If these say you didn’t, CALL your provider and ask for a refund.
