Visited the ER of local hospital, ER doctor told me I was going to be admitted, hospitalist walks in and says not going to be admitted, get billed for both the ER doctor and Hospitalist under caption of consultation, I never was told I’ve ordered a consultation, checked Doctor’s name, in hospitals listing this wasn’t a specialist, said just General Medicine-Hospitalist under his name, not better or worse qualifications than ER doctor, complained to patient advocacy told too bad you have to pay for both??
