I had a pap done at the local health dept. it came back abnormal in turn they sent it to my regular physician that did not do colposcopies so she recommending me to another physician with in the same clinic. Colposcopies are considred a type of surgery. So you would think that the doctor would reveiw my chart before I came in. I waited in the room for over 1 hour and 20 minutes for him to come in and tell me I didn’t need to have it done. Yes he went over why he thought I didn’t need to have it done. But now he is charging me a doctors visit when he could have reviewed my chart before hand like most doctors do before surgery and called me to let me know he didn’t think I needed so I would take time off at my job!!
